Our trips are open to anyone 18+ - and we mean that! While most of our travelers tend to be in the 20s-35s, our trips are perfect for people of all ages that are seeking a new and exciting adventure with a group of like-minded people.
This trip in particular is one that’s on so many people’s vision boards so we expect a large range of ages! Age isn’t what matters to us, it’s your vibe!

We’re staying in a mix of locally run hotels, guesthouses, and local beach bungalows - all handpicked for their great locations, cleanliness, and comfort. You’ll be near the beach, close to the action, and in spots that feel authentic and welcoming.
Our accommodations are NOT luxury, but they’re cozy, cute, and exactly what you need after a day of adventuring in paradise. They all are locally owned and you can really get the French Polynesia vibe from them!
You’ll be in shared rooms with other people on the trip, and we do our best to match you with people we think you’ll vibe with. If you’re traveling with a friend, you’ll be roomed together!

A backpack or small suitcase is ideal for this trip. You’ll want something easy to carry since you’ll be moving around between islands, so lighter is better.

You don’t need to be super outdoorsy or ultra-fit, but you do need to be down for boat days, swims in crystal clear lagoons, and a little bit of unpredictability - because that’s just part of the island magic.
French Polynesia can be an expensive country, particularly when it comes to dining out. There are more budget friendly dining options available such as Rulottes (Tahitian food trucks) or supermarkets (our accommodation in Mo’orea offers a small kitchen) and your Wander Where trip leaders can help advise you on how to save money.

A $399 deposit is due to secure your spot. The rest can be split into monthly payments ($289) with the final payment due 90 days before the trip start date!

If you’re from the US, you can enter French Polynesia visa-free for up to 90 days. Just make sure your passport is valid for at least 6 months after the trip ends and that you have a return or onward ticket.
Make sure to check the updated visa requirements before booking your flights. It’s always a good idea to get your visa squared away well in advance to avoid any last-minute stress.
